Since November 2018, when the 2018 farm bill made CBD legal in all 50 states, we have been studying about CBD and the CBD industry.

Many of our friends and family members have been suffering from stress-related issues such as anxiety, insomnia; issues related to skin conditions and issues like fibromyalgia and chronic pain. They are taking varieties of medicines prescribed by their doctors; however, they were not totally satisfied with the treatment they were receiving. Their dissatisfaction was due to a variety of reasons, including the side effects of medicines, interactions when taking multiple medicines, possible addictions, costs of medicines, and other reasons etc. Some of our close kin tried CBD for their problems and found quick improvement in their conditions.

Our Research

Not all CBD is manufactured the same way.
Many CBD products are manufactured in China, European countries or South American countries.
Many existing CBD products claiming no THC actually have THC. (the psychoactive compound of cannabis which is addicting).
Many products contain less CBD than what is listed on the product label.
Many products contain toxins and harmful chemicals.*
The market has been loaded with confusing labels and products like "Hemp oil, Hemp plant oil, Hemp plant extract, Hemp flower oil, Herbal CBD oil, Herbal extract CBD, cannabis CBD oil, CBD drops, CBD oil, Full spectrum CBD, Broad spectrum CBD, CBD isolate, etc.”
We also found out that our government agencies like the DEA and FDA are not helpful due to the lack of scientific research on this compound. Many scientific studies are going on now, but it could take months or years before we see the results.
The prices of CBD products are also confusing. Some products are available at 5 cents per milligram of CBD and some cost 20+ cents per milligram of CBD. A 1000 milligrams of CBD may cost up to 200 dollars!
